Privacy Policy

Verdict is an app made by Forge13 Studios that helps you find open class action settlements you may qualify for. This policy explains what information the app uses, where it goes, and the choices you have.

The short version

• There is no account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number or Social Security number.
• Your state and the brands you select are stored on your device, not on our servers.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Information stored on your device

To match you with settlements, Verdict saves the following in the app's local storage on your phone:

• Your US state
• The brands and companies you select
• The claims you save or mark as filed, and your reminder settings
• A copy of the settlement list, so the app works when you are offline

Matching happens on your device. You can erase all of this at any time with Settings, then Delete my data. Deleting the app also removes it.

Information handled by service providers

The app uses a small number of providers to work. Each receives only what it needs:

• Supabase hosts the list of settlements. The app downloads that list. As with any web request, Supabase receives your IP address and basic request details. The app does not send your state, brands or claims to Supabase.
• RevenueCat manages subscription status. It receives an anonymous app user ID generated by RevenueCat, your purchase and subscription history from the App Store or Google Play, and basic device details such as the app version and country.
• Apple and Google process all payments. We never see or store your payment card details.
• Sentry receives crash and error reports, including device model, operating system version, app version and the technical details of the error. Crash reports do not include your state, brand choices or saved claims.

Notifications

Deadline reminders are scheduled locally on your device. Verdict asks for notification permission before scheduling them, and you can turn them off in Settings or in your phone's settings at any time.

What we do not collect

• Your location. The app never requests location access.
• Your contacts, photos, camera or microphone.
• Financial account information or government ID numbers.

Settlement websites

When you tap through to file a claim, you leave Verdict and go to the official settlement website run by a court-approved administrator. Information you enter there is handled under that website's own privacy policy, not this one.

Sharing and sale

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if required by law.

Your choices and rights

You can delete the information stored on your device at any time from Settings in the app. To ask about or delete subscription records held by our providers, email apps@forge13.com. We respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct or delete personal information, and we honor those requests.

Children

Verdict is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, tell you in the app.
