Verdict is a class action settlement finder built by Forge13 Studio. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user.

Information we collect

We collect only what is necessary to match you with relevant settlements:

Your US state of residence
Brands and companies you have interacted with (selected by you)
Your email address (collected after you see your matched results)
Push notification token (if you enable notifications)
Basic app usage data (screens visited, features used)

What we do not collect

Your Social Security number or government ID
Your location (we never request location permissions)
Your camera or photos (we never request these permissions)
Your contacts, microphone, or any other sensitive device data
Any financial account information

How we use your information

Your information is used solely to:

Match you with active class action settlements you may qualify for
Send you alerts when new settlements match your profile
Notify you when claim deadlines are approaching
Improve the accuracy of our matching engine

We never sell your data

Verdict does not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes. Ever.

Subscription and payments

Subscription payments are processed by Apple App Store and Google Play. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We never see or store your payment card information.

Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a US-based database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as you have an active account.

Deleting your account

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing us at apps@forge13.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Children

Verdict is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you via the app or email before the changes take effect.
